Watch: Two Ducks Rookies Get First NHL Goals

The Ducks future has never looked so bright, Thursday night against the Coyotes the Ducks found themselves down 2 goals to none and that’s when the rookies decided to take over.

With the score now 2-1 the Ducks were looking for an equalizer. It’s been a long time coming for Ducks forward Trevor Zegras, Thursday night he entered his 11th NHL game with the Anaheim Ducks and was probably starting to feel a bit antsy waiting for his first NHL goal.

That wait came to an end Thursday night, Zegras scored an absolute beauty that shows off just how much skill and patience the kid has to tie the game, which the ducks went on to win in overtime. What makes it even better? Drysdale got an assist for his second point of the night on the goal. Check it out.
