Alain Vigneault out as head coach of Flyers

Change is coming to the Philadelphia Flyers and the change is that head coach Alain Vigneault will be relieved of his duties.

Following a 7-1 beat down at the hands of the Tampa Bay Lightning the Flyers higher ups had enough announcing Monday morning that Alain Vigneault has been fired.

After going 1-7-2 in their last 10, it was clear change had to be made.

It is unclear at this time who will replace him.

Vigneault ends his tenure with the Flyers with a 74-54-19 record.
