Vegas Golden Knights Acquire Jack Eichel From The Buffalo Sabres

It’s finally over. Jack Eichel and the Buffalo Sabres have finally parted ways as the Vegas Golden Knights have acquired the 25 year old center.

The trade breaks down as follows:

To Buffalo:

Peyton Krebs

Alex Tuch

2022 First round pick

2023 Second round pick

To Vegas:

Jack Eichel

Just on radio as I type this…so forgive any typos. Eichel goes with a 3rd rounder for Peyton Krebs, Alex Tuch, a 1st in 2022 and a 2nd in 2023.

Alex Tuch is a 25-year-old winger who last season went on a tear putting up 18 goals, 15 assists for 33 points in 55 games with the Vegas Golden Knights.

Peyton Krebs is Vegas’s 2019 first round pick who is off to a slow start in the NHL with only 1 assists int his first 13 NHL games.

Now that Eichel is a member of the Vegas Golden Knights he will be allowed to have the neck surgery he and his team have wanted from the start and should be back to playing before the year is up.
