This season seems to be the season with the most injuries the Toronto Maple Leafs have ever faced. It seems every week they are losing a new player and yet, they still stand atop the north division.
Tuesday night as the Toronto Maple Leafs took on the Vancouver Canucks they lost another key player. Zach Bogosian was seen losing his footing and slamming HARD into the boards. It appeared so bad that even Canucks Captain Bo Horvat seemed to signal to the Leafs bench for a trainer in a panic.
Miraculously Bogosian was able to pop right back up to his feet and skate off the ice under his own power, but he did immediately leave the game. According to head coach Sheldon Keefe, Bogosian is going to miss some time.

It’s unfortunate, Bogosian has been a pleasant surprise for the Leafs. The former Stanley Cup champion defenseman has been a stabilizing force on their third pairing and his absence will be felt.
