Rodion Amirov has been praised as one of the steals of the draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs when they took him 15th overall in the first round.
Amirov has been compared to the likes of Artemi Panarin and Nikita Kucherov, high praise but also big shoes to try and fill.
Exciting news for Leafs fans today, Amirov’s season in the MHL has come to a close and there has been increased chatter about whether or not he will come to Toronto and Join the team.

Amirov also played in the KHL this season, a notoriously hard league to score in as a rookie. Amirov managed 13 points in 39 games there with 9 goals.
