Seattle Kraken Set to Draft & Sign These two Defensemen

The NHL expansion draft is not set to take place till tonight, but we now have word of two big defencemen the kraken will draft and sign.

First, from the Edmonton Oilers, the Seattle Kraken will select defenseman Adam Larsson. The 28-year-old defenseman is currently set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 28th and has a new 4-year deal worth $4,000,000 per year lined up with the Kraken.

Further to Frank's reporting, Adam Larsson has a four-year deal with #SeaKraken — hearing it'll be a $4M AAV.

Next, from the Dallas Stars, the seattle Kraken will select defenseman Jamie Oleksiak from the Dallas Stars. the 6’7 28 year olddefenseman is also set to become an unrestricted free agent on july 28th. As of right now, his new deal details have not been made public.

Early word is #SeaKraken are closing in on contracts with two UFA defensemen: Adam Larsson (EDM) and Jamie Oleksiak (DAL).
