Sabres Jack Eichel Out For Foreseeable Future With Neck Injury
It’s not getting any easier to be a Buffalo Sabres fan right now. The Sabres are 1-7-2 in their last 10 games and sitting dead last in their division. On top of that the team has just announced that their Captain Jack Eichel will be out for the foreseeable future with a neck injury.
“Because of the nature of the injury, we can’t put a fixed date,” Krueger said on a Zoom call this morning. “We’re expecting it to, yeah, go on a little longer.”

Jack Eichel hurt his neck when Islanders Forward Casey Cizikas hit him behind the net in a game Sunday against the New York Islanders which they lost 5-2.

It is unclear at this time if he will be out for the remainder of the season or if he will potentially need surgery to fix the issue which is being described as a lower cervical spine (neck area) injury.
Oh, and Dylan Cozens will also be out of the lineup day-to-day with a upper-body injury.
Don’t worry Sabres fans, it’s almost over.
