Sabres acquire Malcolm Subban from Chicago Blackhawks

It’s no secret, the Buffalo Sabres have had a hard time in net since Craig Anderson was injured.

The Buffalo Sabres have scored 4 goals in 5 of their last 7 games but have only managed to win one of them.

Well, the Sabres have made a move to fix the whole in their net by acquiring Malcolm Subban from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for future considerations.

Subban has been playing down in the AHL this season for the Rockford Icehogs, he has a 3.38 GAA and a .893 save percentage. Keep in mind these stats for goalies don’t mean as much in the AHL where defense is optional.
