The Duncan Keith sweepstakes (if you can call it that) appear to be reaching its end.
Two weeks ago we reported the Chicago Blackhawks and Duncan Keith were working together to find the 37-year-old defenceman a new home.
Now, it appears they have found him a new home, and that’s with the Edmonton Oilers.
Per Elliotte Friedman, a Sportsnet insider, the two sides have been working to get something done for some time now and appear to be putting the finishing touches on the deal. What pieces are involved other than Keith are not known at this time.
Be sure to keep your eyes open as those details could be available at any moment.
Hearing today that CHI/EDM are closing in on the Duncan Keith deal. May take time, but progress in the weekend
