Must See: Jordan Binnington Goes on Punching Rampage

Jordan Binnington was not having a great night on Saturday. The St Louis Blues netminder was pulled after allowing 4 goals on just 19 shots. Binnington has always had a temper and never really reacts well to getting yanked, this time was no different.

On his way off the ice he stops by the Sharks bench and throws a jab at someone, Binnington then continues to skate towards the middle of the ice where he tries to deck Erik Karlsson who has just returned from injury and was simply skating by him. Then finally, he skates by Devan Dubnyk who is 6’6 & 224 pounds and gives him a wack before using his better judgment and leaving the ice.

Devan Dubnyk had this to say following the game Saturday night:

“I don’t know why he’s skating around, pretending to punch guys. I told him to get off the ice, he’s 165 pounds, swinging at guys, fake punching guys.”

Sharks Evander Kane also chimed in on the situation:

“I guess he’ll have something to report in his next interview. Seems like he does a lot of talking. Too bad I wasn’t on the ice for that.”

After the tantrum and Binnington left the ice he was assessed a 2 minute unsportsmanlike penalty. The Blues eventually went on to win the barn burner of a game 7-6 over the Sharks.
