The Boston Bruins defeated the New York Rangers Friday night in a closely contested 1-0 game. The Bruins are now 10-1-2 and sit comfortably in first in their division.
These double headers are leading to some amazing hockey and are also creating some intense grudges.
New York Rangers blueliner Jacob Trouba took on Charlie McAvoy after he took exception to Trouba’s hard hit on Bruins rookie Jakub Zboril
After that scrap Rangers forward Brendan Lemieux took on Bruins tough guy Trent Frederic in what was a battle of the heavyweights right off the faceoff.
Finally, Jeremy Lauzon has only played a handful of games for the Boston Bruins but he sure is living up to the standards of being a big bad Bruin, especially last night when he dropped the gloves with New York Rangers forward Pavel Buchnevich.

Now that’s old time hockey.
The New York Rangers and the Boston Bruins play eachother four more times this year, mark those dates on your calendar and buckle up.
