Mark Hunter Could be the next General Manager of the Canucks

The search for the next general manager of the Vancouver Canucks continues.

As time goes on more names are starting to be leaked out, one that has been floated out there the most is former assistant general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Mark Hunter.

Sportsnets Ellitte Friedman had this to say during his most recent episode of the 32 thoughts podcast:

Someone who I really trust said to me Hunter could be in the middle of this because they want to be build up their scouting, he knows young players, and also, the other thing about Mark Hunter is if they want him they could probably get him now.

Of importance to note is that his co-host Jeff Marek who is a guy with lots of CHL connections said Hunter is a name he hasn’t heard yet.

So, depending on which insider you want to believe it looks like Mark Hunter may be in the running to be the next General Manager of the Vancouver Canucks.
