Los Angeles Kings Looking To Add Two Top Six Forwards

la kings trade offseason

This season was a difficult one for the Los Angeles Kings, something that has been a bit of a pattern recently.

The year started out pretty good for the club but quickly derailed leaving management and players frustrated, none more so than defenseman Drew Doughty who had this to say following the end of their season:

“With all this cap room, we’ve got to bring guys in. That’s it, there’s no point waiting for these prospects to develop when you’ve got guys in their prime that are hungry to win and sick of losing.”

Well it appears Kings management was listening because according to TSN’s Darren Dreger, the Kings could be big players this off-season as they look to acquire two top six forwards via trade or free agency.

The Kings have been one of the biggest names in the Jack Eichel trade talks, they have all the pieces to make a trade like that happen and it seems they are more willing to do so as we get closer to the NHL draft.

One thing is for sure, buckle up Kings fans because it’s going to be a fun off-season.
