It’s been reported recently that the Florida Panthers have bought out 34-year-old defenceman Keith Yandle.
Yandle, a Boston native, put together a pretty solid 27 points in a shortened season last year and doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
All things considered, he seems to be the perfect fit for the Boston Bruins and, per Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman.
It’s been rumored for awhile
With news of the Bruins losing 33-year-old defenceman Kevan Miller to retirement, it now leaves another hole on the bruins’ backend, a backend that has already been hurting since they lost Krug and Chara.
Any deal between the two would likely be a short, 1 year deal that would come in under $3,000,00.
