Insider: Sam Reinhart May Be On His Way Out Of Buffalo

In a season where not much has gone right for the Buffalo Sabres, Sam Reinhart finds himself still putting up points despite his teams effots. The 25 year old has 19 point in 27 games with the Sabres this season and if you consider his team has lost 13 games in a row, that’s pretty impressive.

Other teams around the league are taking notice and starting to make calls to the sabres in regards to acquiring Reinhart who currently sits with a $5,200,000 cap hit and is set to become an RFA following the season.

Teams that are reported to be in on Reinhart include the Boston Bruins, New York Islanders and the Pittsburgh Penguins. All playoff teams and potential cup contenders that would do well to add a player like Reinhart before the deadline.

Reinhart was drafted 2nd overall in the first round of the 2014 NHL draft and has since put up 274 points in 427 career games with the Sabres.
