If you’ll recall, four months ago we reported that blues star winger Vladimir Tarasenko had requested a trade.
He was not happy with the Blues organization and how they treated his shoulder surgeries, saying that he felt there was no trust left between him and the team.
As far as we know, nothing has changed since then. According to Jeff Marek on the Fan 590, he was told the trade request was still in place.

Over the summer the Blues tried to move the unhappy winger who carries an annual average value of $7,500,000 for two more seasons, but there were not many teams interested in taking on such a large cap hit.
The main reason being the uncertainty around his lingering injuries.
However, that’s all changing now that the Blues and Tarasenko are off to a hot start, the 29 year old winger looks like his former self already with 6 points in 5 games including two goals last night against the Los Angeles kings.
Teams are taking notice of this and have begun to inquire if he is still available, and as far as anyone knows, he is.
Something to keep an eye on.
