Conor Timmins has drawn some interest from Toronto

According to Elliotte Friedman, the Maple Leafs are a team that could show some interest in RHD Conor Timmins.

He mentions the fact that Rasmus Sandin and Timmins played together with the Soo Greyhounds a few years back as something to note.

The defenceman, originally drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in 2017, is now a part of the Coyotes organization, where he has only appeared in 8 NHL games, without recording a point.

Timmins, 24, is in the final year of a 2-year deal he signed with the Coyotes in 2021, which carries an AAV of $850k. As of today, he’s only appeared in 2 games this season with the team.
