Canucks Sign Tanner Pearson to Three Year Contract Extension
The Vancouver Canucks may not be buyers or even sellers at the NHL trade deadline but they are working away getting their own players signed.
Thursday afternoon it was announced that forward Tanner Pearson and the Vancouver Canucks have agreed to a 3 year extension that pays $3,250,000 per year.
Pearson hasn’t had the best year for the Canucks with just 11 points in 33 games. Last season however he was magnificent for the Canucks putting together 45 points in just 69 games.
Tanner Pearson deal is at $3.25 million over 3 years.
It's backloaded, and includes some signing bonus in the third year.
There's no formal expansion protection. Full NTC in year 1, m-NTC (7 teams) in year 2 and no trade protection whatsoever in year three. #Canucks
