Insider: Buffalo Sabres Are Officially Open For Business

Buffalo Sabres General Manager Kevyn Adams has had enough of his teams lackluster efforts.

The Sabres are now 6-13-3 sitting dead last in their division having lost six games in a row following their embarrassing 5-2 loss to the New York Islanders Saturday afternoon.

According to sportsnet’s insider Elliotte Friedman, the Buffalo Sabres are now wide open for business. Here is what he had to say during Saturday headlines:

“They’ve now lost six games in a row and Kevyn Adams had a zoom call with the media yesterday where he called the way they are playing unacceptable.

He has been talking to just about everyone in the league to see whats out there and the word is that the Buffalo Sabres are quote “wide open” they are listening on all options.

I think there is a  number of things people think they may do or may not do, I’ve heard there have been a lot of questions asked about Sam Reinhart and Eric Staal in addition to some of the other names you would also expect. Again, the word is they are listening to any possibilities.”

It appears nothing is off the table, we reported earlier that the Buffalo Sabres have been looking to recoup assets by moving Taylor Hall before the deadline and it appears that timeline has moved up.

No players appear to be off limits as the team is looking at all options. That includes Jack Eichel although a trade of that size will likely need to be done in the off season.
